Yogurt marble cake

Ingredients
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
Preparation

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C.

Pour the yogurt into a large bowl. Keep the empty yogurt pot to use as a measuring cup. Then add the sugar, flour, oil, eggs, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Mix all the ingredients together until creamy.

 

Pour 1/3 of this mixture into another salad bowl.

 

Break the chocolate into little pieces and melt in a bain-marie. Once it has melted, add it to 1/3 of the mixture you set aside.

 

Grease a cake tin and pour in half of your chocolate-free mixture. Cover this mixture with all the chocolate mixture and then finish by pouring in the rest of the chocolate-free mixture. Gently stir with a fork to get a marbled effect.

 

Cook for 30 minutes.

Leave to cool before serving.
