Split pea puree

Ingredients
  • 1 large handful of split peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 knob of butter
Preparation

In a saucepan filled with water, cook the split peas along with the peeled and finely diced carrot for about 15 minutes. Strain and keep the cooking water.

Using a masher or food mill, mash the vegetables with a little cooking water.

Add butter before serving.
