Wash, peel and cut the tomato into small pieces. Wash and peel the carrot and then grate it. Thinly slice the onion.
In a frying pan, fry the onion with a little olive oil. First add the finely chopped beef and then the grated carrots and cook for 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and 3 tablespoons of water. Bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Blend the mixture. Serve with small cooked pasta shapes.
