“IVORY COAST” Spinach sauce with beef

Ingredients
  • 1kg spinach leaves
  • 1 glass of sunflower oil
  • 500g beef
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 2 large onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 basil leaves
Preparation

In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the cubed meat for 15 minutes until nicely golden.

Carefully wash and dice the tomatoes. Finely slice the onions and garlic.

Add the tomatoes, onions and garlic to the mixture and cook for 5 minutes.

Then add the carefully washed and finely chopped spinach

and cook for a further 10 minutes.

Add the stock cube and basil and leave to simmer for 1 hour. Serve with rice.
