“CHINA” Nougat

Ingredients
  • 100g sugar
  • 40g grilled unsalted peanuts
  • 15g sesame seeds
  • 20cL water
  • 50g cornflour
Preparation

In a saucepan, heat the sugar on a low heat with 10cL of water until it caramelises.

In a bowl, gradually mix the cornflour with the remaining 10cL of water, stirring to avoid lumps. Pour the caramel onto this mixture and mix.

Oil-roast the peanuts in a saucepan for a few minutes. Pour your mixture over the peanuts. Mix everything on a low heat until the mixture thickens.

Spread this mixture on a tray covered with baking paper.

Leave to cool and then turn out.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and then cut the nougat into small cubes.
