“LEBANON” Cheese Borek

Ingredients
  • 2 sheets of puffed pastry
  • 30g butter or margarine
  • 200g pasteurised feta
  • Pasteurised grated gruyere cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of parsley
  • Pepper
Preparation

In a large bowl, mash the feta and mix with a large handful of grated gruyere cheese, the chopped garlic and parsley. Season with a little pepper.

Arranged the first sheet of puff pastry in a springform cake mould and baste with melted butter. Pour your mixture onto the pastry and then cover with the second sheet of puff pastry. Carefully press down the edges. Baste with the rest of the melted butter.

Using a knife, cut out small diamond shapes.

Put into the oven for 25 minutes at 210°C. Serve immediately.
