Gratin dauphinois

Ingredients
  • 800g potatoes
  • 25cL pasteurised cream
  • Butter
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
Preparation

Preheat your oven to 150°C.
Butter the bottom and sides of your gratin dish. Carefully wash the potatoes, peel them and chop them into thin slices.
Layer your slices in your dish. Season with salt and pepper.

In a saucepan, heat the cream with the finely chopped garlic and bring to the boil.
Carefully pour this mixture over the potatoes, making sure every layer is covered.
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
